In order to become a citizen of Vanuatu and obtain a passport, the applicant should meet such requirements as the age of majority, clean criminal record, no refusals to entry any visa-free country for Vanuatu. Each applicant must pass due diligence check worth $ 5,000 and confirm a legal source of invested funds. Investment amount includes the cost of government and agency administrative fees for processing the application, issuing certificates and passports. The final investment sum depends on the number of applicants. For a single main applicant the cost of participation in the program is $ 130,000 for a married couple - $ 150,000, for a family with 1 child under the age of 18 - $ 165,000, for a family with 2 children under the age of 18 - $ 180,000, for the fifth and each additional family member an additional $ 10,000 should be paid. After payment of the funds provided by the program, the investor should take an oath of allegiance within 3 months in order to obtain Vanuatu citizenship certificate and passport, which proves that investor becomes a citizen of Vanuatu.
