with a Singapore passport
After fulfilling the investment conditions and residency requirements, participants of the Global Investor Programme receive citizenship certificates from the government, enabling them to obtain Singapore passports. The investor needs to make an investment of S$ 2,500,000 in business or in special Global Investor Programme Fund that invests in Singapore-based companies. The investor must also meet additional program requirements: create jobs for citizens of the country and prove annual Singapore-based company's business expenses of at least S$ 1,000,000. The right to obtain a passport appears after 2.5 years of permanent residence in the country. Together with the main investor, Singapore passports can be issued to a spouse and children under the age of 21
The application for passport may be submitted online, sent by mail to the Passport Unit of the Citizen Services Center or dropped into one of the deposit boxes in the building of the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA). If you stay abroad, you may apply to the Singapore Consulate or Embassy. The passport is issued within a week from the date of receipt of the application.
It is also necessary to provide 2 photos of 3,5x4,5 cm size made during the last 3 months. When the document is ready, you will receive an official notification by post or e-mail. You must pick up your passport within a month, otherwise it will be sent for cancellation.
