In order to apply for passport you have to reside legally in New Zealand for 5 years and receive citizenship of the country first. According to the law and conditions of the Investor Visa and Investor Plus Visa programs, the investor is issued a temporary residence permit for a period of 3 years, then permanent residence for 1 year and subsequently New Zealand citizenship. To participate in the program, each candidate must confirm his reliability by passing due diligence, have clean criminal record, specify legal source of income and purchase or rent real estate for the period of residence in the country. The investment amount depends on the chosen investment option.
